Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Orringlen Ventures LLC, doing business as The Parent Strategy ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our coaching and consulting Services. This Policy applies to our website, communications, and program delivery, and is intended primarily for clients located in the United States.
1 · Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
● Contact information (name, email address, phone number, mailing address);
● Payment information (processed through a third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers);
● Intake and assessment information you provide about yourself, your household, and your teenager, including academic history, family dynamics, and communication patterns;
● Information shared during coaching sessions, whether by phone, video, written form, or our private community platform.
Information Collected Automatically
● Standard technical information when you visit our website (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited), typically through cookies or similar technologies.
2 · How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
1. Provide, personalize, and improve our coaching and consulting Services;
2. Communicate with you, including scheduling, appointment reminders (including by SMS, as described below), and program-related updates;
3. Process payments and manage your enrollment;
4. Maintain the safety and integrity of our Services, including identifying situations that may warrant a referral to a licensed professional; and
5. Comply with legal obligations.
3 · SMS / Text Messaging
If you provide your mobile phone number, we use it primarily to send appointment reminders and scheduling-related messages regarding your coaching sessions. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any message or by contacting us at [email protected].
4 · How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
● Service providers who help us operate our business (such as payment processors, scheduling platforms, email/SMS providers, and our private community platform), who are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide these services to us;
● Licensed professionals to whom we refer you, but only with your knowledge and, where appropriate, your consent;
● Legal or regulatory authorities where required by law, or where we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of you, your teenager, or another person;
● A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
5 · Sensitive Family and Household Information
Because our Services involve discussion of sensitive family, academic, and sometimes mental-health-adjacent information, we take extra care with this data. We use such information solely for the purpose of providing coaching services to you, and we do not share it outside our organization except as described in Section 4 above.
6 · Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7 · Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 9 below, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
8 · Children's Privacy
Our Services are directed to parents and legal guardians, not directly to minors. We understand that intake information may reference your teenager; this information is provided by you, the parent or guardian, and is used solely to deliver our Services to you. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from minors.
9 · Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To make such a request, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
10 · Third-Party Links and Referrals
Our communications or materials may reference or link to third-party websites or professionals (such as recommended therapists or specialists). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
11 · Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy with an updated effective date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
